Elwin & Alecia

Elwin & Alecia’s wedding was captured as a 60+ minute documentary-style film, telling the complete story of their special day. The celebration was filled with energy, live performances and unforgettable moments. Artists such as Jairzinho (Rotterdam Airlines) and Broederliefde, alongside DJs and Cape Verdean artists from Cape Verde and Portugal, created an incredible atmosphere throughout the night. The wedding reflected a strong Cape Verdean culture, including traditional music and dance. Friends of the couple added their own energy to the celebration, even stepping in to rap and perform, making the event feel personal and unique. This project was edited over the course of two months, combining interviews, vlog-style content and cinematic visuals into one complete story. Having worked with the family before, there was already a strong level of trust, allowing us to capture everything in a natural and authentic way. The result is a dynamic, emotional and vibrant wedding film.
