Richard & Marusja

Richard & Marusja’s wedding was an intimate and elegant celebration, blending Cape Verdean and Armenian cultures. The wedding took place near Antwerp, surrounded by close friends and family, creating a warm and personal atmosphere. Despite its intimate setting, the celebration was filled with energy and special moments, with guests including Frenna. For this project we chose a documentary-style approach, working closely with Richard, owner of Banlieue, who has a strong background in visual storytelling. This allowed us to shape the direction of the film in a natural and collaborative way, combining creativity, humor and emotion. The visual style was intentionally more refined, using static shots and slower pacing to create a calm and cinematic feel. The result is a unique and personal wedding film that stands out through its storytelling and visual simplicity.
